Many of the Mardome rooflight models can be specified with hit and miss trickle ventilation, available with either manual or automatic operation. This feature provides optimal background ventilation suitable for various environments, from living spaces to office areas. For rooms where internal environments are more demanding, such as kitchens and bathrooms, the Powervent option allows for discreet and convenient powered extraction ventilation, effectively removing humid air and odours.
Smoke Vents are available and commonly used in stairways and annex connections in industrial workspaces and offices. Smoke Vents allow smoke and heat exhaust to escape to keep fire escape routes and fire brigade access clear from smoke in the chance of a fire. Fully certified EN12101-2 smoke vent dome, is available in a wide assortment of sizes and options. Actuators on smoke vents can be offset to allow the rooflight to be a dual purpose smoke vent and access hatch.
